The last two days I received temple wedding announcements in the mail! The last two months two members of my immediate family were sealed to their eternal companions!! Wow!! In keeping with having weddings on my mind, next week it will be 28 years since I had my own wedding and believe me it seems like it was such a simple feat compared to those of late. My groom and I lived in the same state, our immediate families lived in the same state so i see my kids jumping the hurdles of different states or countries, etc and wow didnt even realize how easy we had it.. but love knows no boundaries for these brave troopers.

More weddings, might mean more grandchildren, whaddayathink?? I know, in the future....

Well, baby girl due this January, so my first grandson gets to be big brother :) hooray!!
Our first granddaughter was also excited to become a big sister this coming Spring, but also seemed to be accepting and understanding when baby was gone after eleven weeks of fetal growth.

late, but I'm awake

Does this ever happen to you? More than anything I need some sleep, but here I am awake. I have like this 'neverending' list of things to do. Yes, I know this is called life and living. I, have no intention of getting anymore done today except sleep, seeing that it is a quarter to midnight. Well, I hope everyone else is sleeping. I had fun today, I coached my children in their learning (just the younger five ages 16 down to 5 years old). I made sure our seven remaining puppies were fed on time. I was able to babysit my dear ten month old grandson. I missed my hubby today since he took his mom over to Thatcher to visit with her siblings. I am missing him tonight and won't see him until after I teach early morning seminary. I am going to sleep.

Grandpa and
one of his
five great-grandchildren.

Born in 1920, we are glad to have known him and now have his memory with us. He will hold a place in our hearts for always.......

How is your summer going?

Summer is almost over! Well not really, just vacation is almost over, since school starts in the summer. Swimming has been fun! YW camp was fun! Summer rains have been awesome! Fourth of July fireworks were colorful and surprising, the family cook out was soooooo yummy! July birthdays were fun! We haven't made it to the creek, maybe this week!!! Maybe the end of summer still holds some surprises for us! Take some pictures, make a book, make some phones calls, have a party, make more memories.............

What do you do in the summertime?

We are now in summer mode. School is out, okay one of us is still taking college classes. Things are heating up and swimming fun has already begun! Other summer events coming up, include camp, more renovating on home, the garden, reunions, we hope to make the beach, but if that doesn't happen we will be doing the creek possibly. A summer family trip was in the makings. But summer seems so short, don't know what we will fit in.
